Cobb’s magnet programs allow students to pursue their interests, develop their talents, and extend their competencies beyond the usual scope of high school. Magnet students are selected through a highly-competitive, rigorous application process. All magnet program applications will open on October 1st and close December 2nd. Please see the links below for more information about upcoming dates for acceptances and magnet showcases.

Remember, all magnet program applications will be LIVE on October 1st, 2025. Applications close on December 2nd, and no late applications will be accepted. Please note once the portal is open, you can go ahead and register for your audition if you are planning to apply to Pebblebrook's CCCEPA. Please see the list below for upcoming open houses for each of the magnet schools and try to attend the schools you are interested in. • August 1, 2025 – Pebblebrook Performing Arts Audition Information will be available on Pebblebrook website

• September 1, 2025 During Connections - Magnet Assembly for All 8th Grade Students

• September 11, 2025 from 6:30 – 8:30pm – Prospective Parent Information Session at Campbell High School

• October 1, 2025 - Magnet school and CITA applications available online

• October 18, 2025 – PSAT 8/9 testing for Non-CCSD magnet applicants at Kennesaw Mountain High School

• December 2, 2025 at 11:59 PM - Last Day for Magnet School and CITA Application Submission (except Pebblebrook)

• January 30, 2026 at 4:30 PM - Admissions decisions posted in the magnet application portal (sign in to CCSD magnet portal).

• February 27, 2026 - Deadline for students to select program and indicate commitment in magnet portal
